Alabama State University’s Department of Visual Arts will host a “Haunted Halloween Gallery: A Terrifyingly Creative Event,” on October 31- November 14. The exhibit, which will be held at the Tullibody Fine Arts Center’s Warren/Britt Gallery, will showcase works from students, faculty, staff and local artists. The event is free and open to the public.

The exhibit will kickoff on October 31 with a reception at 11 a.m. and will include food and prizes. Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes, although they are not required.

Alana Taylor, art professor at ASU, said the exhibit is designed to get more students interested in the programs offered in the department and to create overall excitement about art.
